Meet the founder
Val Malinovskiy
Founder & CEO, YPay & TRUEU
Val Malinovskiy is a fintech entrepreneur and pioneer in social enterprise, who aims to transform charitable giving and corporate philanthropy. He is founder and CEO of Sydney-based crypto payroll company YPay and one of the world's first decentralised charity platforms, TRUEU.
With a strong background in innovation, blockchain technology, finance and business management, Val saw an opportunity to turn charity givers into charity stakeholders using new virual asset technologies. He founded YPay in XXXX, as a payment platform to make it easy for employees to get paid in cryptocurrencies. Meanwhile, recognising DeFi's potential to transform charitable giving, both boosting both donations and engagement with charity organizations, he founded TRUEU in 2025.
Prior to founding YPay, Val's career includes a number financial and business management roles including finance management at Compass Group, Fink Group, and Crown Equipment. He currently runs a successful labor hire business.
With experience spanning aviation operations, strategic financial management, and blockchain technology, Val is dedicated to exploring the transformative potential of blockchain to transform industries, drive growth and create sustainable solutions.
Val is based in Sydney, Australia and holds a Bachelor of Aviation Management from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Professional Accounting from Charles Sturt University. He is also a philanthropist and a supporter of social enterprises in Australia.
